How long does the Shopify Intensive take?
The entire build process takes a week. This assumes that I have all the content and images for your website and email marketing.
Who will provide images and content for the website?
While you provide the images and content, I guide you through this process with my ecommerce copy guide.
Do you work only with the Shopify platform?
Yes, I work exclusively with the Shopify platform for web design, and Klaviyo for email marketing. Shopify and Klaviyo seamlessly integrate, making it super easy to sync your customer and order data and create personalized email marketing campaigns that boost your sales.
Can you customize Shopify themes?
Yes, I customize Shopify themes. My policy is to use Shopify approved themes where possible, and use as little coding as possible. This ensures that your website is easy to update and maintain.
My site is live and I need a redesign. How long will my website need to be down?
Have no fear, I'll work with you to plan downtimes. The great thing about Shopify is that you can design a whole new website theme, review and test it, before choosing to publish.
Once you hit publish the new website is live and replaces your old design.
You might need some time after go live to restrict access to customers while payments are tested. In such cases I design a "scheduled maintenance" or "website relaunch" page for you.
Do you charge the same for a Shopify website redesign?
That would depend on the redesign needed. Generally I would charge the same but I may offer a discount, depending on how large the overhaul is.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! 50% is due to book and reserve your Intensive and the final 50% due 3 days before your day.
Do you have examples of your work?
Yes! You can see examples of my work in my case studies on the blog.
How much SEO do you provide as part of the intensive?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization is very important for getting traffic to your website). As part of my Shopify Intensive, I help you improve your SEO by:
- Providing a prompt for you to select the top search phrases that you would like to be found by
- Putting in meta descriptions on every page that I create for you on your website
- Putting in alt tags on all images I create for you on the website
- Recommending SEO apps that you can use to boost your SEO after launch
Whether you choose to work with an SEO expert or use one of Shopify's apps to help, SEO is a continual process that can take some time to bear fruit.
